Desktop icon labels disappear
Published on September 9, 2007 By Jeff Gamble In Animated Wallpapers
Ever since I installed DescScapes 1.02, whenever I reboot, or just re-login, my desktop icon labels disappear.

I have tried a number of things to resolve the issue, but with no luck.

If the text is missing and I switch to a non-animated desktop, the text shows up, but without any drop shadows.
I checked the performance setting for it, and it was still turned on.

I found that if the text disappears, I have to switch to a non-animated desktop; reboot; then switch back to DeskScapes.
Then the text is there, at least for a while. If I play a game that is full-screen, when I go back to windows, the text is gone again.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this????

Thanks

Do you still have 1.01 to go back and see if it still happens?

I've noticed the exact same issue. But, if I selected a plain color background then go back to display properties and re-select the dream, they stayed visible. But I've had to do this on several occasions and have not figured a rhyme or reason for it.

No O.K. and cancel buttons work.No chance to change a dream.Big Bullshit Program. Seems too me taking money for nothing and do not give a shit about their customers suits them enough. Trouble since i startet the shit.

If you have a problem with deskscapes please report it to support@stardock.com

Please note that problems with VIDEO dreams (vs dynamic ones) are usually video driver / video codec problems.
